Would there be any fundamental changes to the use of armor if you could get a 120mm cannon firing in the low hundreds of rounds per minute in a similar form factor as modern armor? Let's say 300 just to have a number.
Due to the extremely limited ammunition capacity I'm inclined to say no, but surely a very rapid firing direct fire artillery piece has some usage. Even if it's somewhat niche, like firing beehive rounds into minefields as an alternative to miclics, I can't imagine increasing ROF without any notable compromises would have zero use.
