Unless I'm badly mistaken, the cavitating torpedoes in (limited) use today are hit-to-kill, not magnetic influence.

None. The torpedo uses gravity against the target ship. Essentially it creates a hole in the water underneath the ship, so now nothing is supporting the weight of the ship. The ship simply breaks into two, its back broken.
