Ever since I played metal gear solid 4 I've always wanted an M14 EBR. I'm about to "pull the trigger" lol on this bad ass babe. What sort of oil do you recommend for these?

An M1/M14 derivative will need grease. Red Mobil 1 works fine, apply it on the sliding parts like the oprod and the inside of the receiver heel to where the coat is barely visible to the eye. You may also use any gun oil of your choice on the rotating parts.

please just go to LRB or Fulton Armory if you're willing to drop that kind of money and save yourself the disappointment.

You know you can just buy the m1a and buy the Sage chassis separately right? It'll save you like a grand.

The Only M14/M1A worth a damn was the very custom Troy Industries (yeah I know) “Rock” SOPMOD. Carbon fiber chassis, collapsible stock, 5R barrel, custom off-center adjustable gas system for a lower profile, Ops Inc OTB suppressor. All-in without mag or optic it came in right around 8lbs. Which is damn good for an M14/M1A or for any cold war battle rifle, which are usually 9.5lbs bone dry.
