On the off chance someone else is down this hole, is there any sort of chassis for the Steyr A2 MF line? Did some digging and all I found was a reddit post of a dude firing one with what I assume was an FRT or just fast trigger finger in a chassis, plus an abandonded Odysee project. No one selling anything. I messaged the dude hoping he might have something, no reply yet.

I only know of 2 companies that anodize anything grey and they only do it for "retro" parts. cerakote is probably your best option, the other one being just painting it.

I am looking at purchasing a new hunting rifle. I am used to 30-06 and other milsurp calibers but I want to get something thoroughly modern. I am considering 6.5 sneedmore and 7mm prc. I will primarily be hunting deer. These two specifically because they are options both available on the rifles I'm considering. 6.5 seems like it has wide adoption and a variety of flavors available. Its very accurate and predictable. Possibly less reliable for larger game 7mm prc seems like it has a very flat shooting arc and more stopping power. Possibly poor support from manufactures and availabilityAny thoughts on what direction I should take?
