Anyone want to share stories, memories, memes, photos, etc, they have saved from old /k/? I'm talking circa 2004-2014 time frame. I think what I miss the most is how exciting threads could be. Back then, the general populous mostly had cheap mosins, SKSs, shotguns, and basic bitch AR-15s. So it was a big deal when someone posted a rare gun, a "nice" AR-15 or AK, or had NFA items like suppressors. If you had a PCC or subgun, it was because you painstakingly assembled it from a kit you bought from a shady website. Nowadays, everything that was a spectacle back then is a dime a dozen. It doesn't seem like anyone collects cool old milsurp, or if they do no one really cares. Everyone has a decent or nice AR-15. You can get MP5s or clones for $1000. Suppressors and SBRs can be had with no real effort. Almost every pistol offers the same type of performance and modularity, and everyone has a light and optic. And don't get me wrong, I'm glad that all of these things are more readily available and accessible to more folks, I guess I just miss the feeling and wonder of the old days. I miss the men and the memes around night /k/. I miss the art. I miss /k/ radio. Anyone want to reminisce with me?
