I shoved three layers of an A&W can behind the trigger guard latch housing of my SKS, it's actually hard to get it in and out of the stock now, absolutely zero movement. Wonder if this will actually shave and inches off the groups.
One thing I'm still not sure about is if you want to tighten up where the front of the stock meets the plate the cleaning rod slides into of leave it free floating, doesn't seem to be any consensus on that. Might try a couple groups free floated and another couple with a cork filler or something and compare results
