AnonymousItaly10/09/26, 17:58No.225364720/extraflags/ - Travel Reporting aka Flag Dumping, Geography, Maps... general
your trips to the Western Alps haven't made 4chan history because you didn't post all the flags? sucks to be you lol edition Previously on /flag/: >>224761660 >do (You) like exploring, taking photos and blogposting about it? >potentially becoming the first pioneer in the entire history of 4chan to take those flags? (pic related) Welcome to /flag/, a comfy 130 IQ general for Extraflags users that combines your passions for geography, maps AND travel by using the Extraflags extension Threadly activities include travel/trip posting, urbex, wilderness exploration, hunting for radioactive minerals, eclipse and aurora hunting, (extra)flag collecting, map filling, cycling across Europe, other autistic activities and overall funposting >What is Extraflags? Extraflags is an open-source browser userscript that lets you choose regional flags, like states and provinces, to add to your already existing default country flag. Turns out it's very well suited for travel posting because you can flex with the ultrarare (or at least, nice) flags you're travelling to, rather than using it as a reddit flair for tripfagging in other threads Instructions for installing Extraflags: https://flagtism.gitlab.io/Extra-Flags-for-4chan/ Gitlab repository: https://gitlab.com/flagtism/Extra-Flags-for-4chan/-/issues >Why is Flag Dumping so fun and how do I get started? Tiranoend of the railway and crossroad towards many other valleys; you can continue by road to the upper third of Valtellina or north by meter-gauge railway via its side valley Val Poschiavo-Bernina Pass to the Upper Engadine. this dump features both!

fun fact: the entire municipality is located north of the Alps, all of its water flowing into tributaries of the Inn and so the Danube, hence placing it in "central" europe

btw Odessa is famous in Italy because of a scene in an extremely popular 1975 comedy film that ridiculizes in a spectacular way the boringness of a 1925 Soviet film called "Battleship Potemkin". A scene of the movie was shot in a stairway on the sea that still exists in the city, the (in)famous Potëmkin Stairs, that Goslar will have visited by noweverything i just told apparently traces back to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_battleship_Potemkin

I met a really cute Russian girl from Kemerovo while i was bored waiting for my train and helping her with her tickets. We talked a lot about the geography and mountains of Siberia and at some point she said I'm cute too. I would have lost my train to stay with her more but i felt like parting ways was the right and inevitable thing to do. We exchanged instagrams of course, but now i'm inevitably heartbroken because it's sad how these things rarely go anywhere remotely, you really need to see often a person irl and i doubt she won't socialize with anyone cuter than me in the Emilian university town she will be studying in

Cavargnaone of the most remote and rugged valleys in all of pre-Alpine Lombardy together with neighboring Valsolda, which is more of a slope than a proper valley however. Val Cavargna is instead a proper valley with several population center all along its axis, always steep and full of curves

San Nazzaro Val Cavargnathese places are so remote that a lot of them didn't have an official CoA until very recently, i think as late as 2024 in some cases. Luckily they have a bus that descends late enough for the timing of my hike, making this traverse possible

Qatar||Doha Municipality||Zone 4 (Mushaireb)These Zone border signs are everywhere. Ngl, the black-and-white one looks a bit better than the blue ones we have. However the blue ones we have also keep the aesthetic of these signs, so maybe we should keep them

>The phrase Ruse blood wedding (Bulgarian: Pyceнcкa къpвaвa cвaтбa) usually refers to a 1910 conflict among ethnic groups and the army in Ruse, Bulgaria, resulting in the deaths of 24 people; 70 others were injured. The clashes were caused by the wedding of a Bulgarian man and an ethnic Turkish girl, of which the local Turks disapproved and state authorities violently opposed.

There might be a possibility for a discussion to split St. Paul's Bay into a number of towns. Nothing concrete yet, but it has been brought up in Parliament.
