03/14/26, 17:44No.219961741 This isn't as crazy as it sounds. My grandparents lived in this sort of place in the 40s and 50s when they were building our first generation of satellites at Area 51. The USAF rolled mobile homes into hangars and installed a tube from the "living" hangar to the "work" hangar so grandpa could always be in a controlled, secure environment without any potential for outside communist interference. They lived like this for about two years. Also, the satellites were radioactive from their fuel source (plutonium RTGs) and their film material, as all observation film was still manufactured on-site in a tiny nuclear reactor (not a power reactor, but for film) and developed there too when it was returned to them. The process of returning one of these devices to them is itself legendary and was featured in COD BLOPS 3 or whatever.pic rel, it's what inspired Higgs Village in FNV since Big Mountain is basically an analog of this placeLater in life he got cancer and died and the government refused to acknowledge it until Clinton made it all public, and then everyone hated my dad for suing the government for compensation because it was unpatriotic. My dad sued them because he is a vietnam veteran and was messed up by the defoliant he sprayed all over vietnam, which vietnam is still mad at us for. We still have a big stack of hate mail of people telling us it's our duty to die for The Flag. More recently, I've added my big stack of hate mail telling me it's also my duty to die for Israel as I publicly oppose the Iran War.
