wife and I made wreaths and decorated for Samhain Saturday night. I am not an art oriented person. This was my first attempt at crafting in many years. My wreath is top left, hers top right. she invited our religious, protestant, white friends and a livestock hobby friend over for a seasonal celebration, food & fellowship on Oct 30th. Will serve single-bite-sized mutton pot pies, a charcuterie board of brie, ovine havarti, ovine cheddar, Bleu cheese, jalapeños, jam, brown mustard, sourdough, and 1 or 2 varieties of crackers. drinks will be wife ranging, as we make our own wine & have cellar full, brew our own beer & have mass market American Lager on hand, as well as a fully stocked liquor cabinet for classic cocktails (not sugar-laden "club drinks"). we will both dress in seasonal costumes for fun. she will be a Dryad & I will be a Druid. wife is not a "witch" and we are not pagans or astrology kooks. just farmers celebrating the astronomical, solar, planting, breeding and harvest seasonal calendar. sharing our harvest, goodwill, thanks, blessings and the hope for a healthy and productive next year. Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Where's my invitation? Did the Post lose it?There is certainly a ritual connotation to your event because you created an altar (even if consciously it's just art to you, spirits speak to the artistic unconscious and may speak through it) and are willfully celebrating a holiday that is intended as a day of worship for beings of lower intent. (Sacrifice and I will help you vs I will sacrifice and help you)Your Christian friends would be right to politely decline if they knew the connotations of your event. Yet they probably celebrate Christmas on Dec 25 with a Christmas tree and are likely luciferians themselves so...ya know.

they’re lovely, op, (& cute tiny mushrooms.) and a very fun display. i deeply love the feeling of harvest pre-winter celebrations, there’s just something about them.

You're not fooling anyone. This is pagan. Protestant are Protestanting again. You're even dressing up like druids.
