If you reviewed the course material, the grids stop being used about 15 days later.

This is incredibly stupid just like entire technical drawing is... what are you doing this for ?If you need to measure exactly every single thing in your image you will never train your eye and always have to do drawing like this thus you learn nothing. Stop with this cringe and if you need measuring use your pencil or tool in program if you are doing digital but this nonsense is just hindering every single progress you do specially later when you will have to deal with drawing characters and you won't be able to estimate distances it's going to be whole another pain for you.

Grids are the worst begtrap out there, op. Just because the course is in chinchong it doesn't mean it's good.

this board is full of people who've only been drawing seriously for a year or less. Either asking questions or replying to question threads. Anyone actually experienced with drawing HATES it and hates talking about it.

Do you think the grid really helps? It never helped me much, I prefer to just eyeball it. But to answer the question, until you feel like you got a good grip on the thing you're drawing. Once you do, try drawing without it and see how it goes.

Op this is just a training method. You can start drawing without a grid whenever you want. This kind of advanced observation + accuracy is supposed to (at least I think) help you eyeball in the future. These tools being showed to you are meant to be fluid. You are free to use them how you please in your own drawings.
