You should build up some popularity on social media first. Then let game studios know you are interested in doing art for an NSFW game. Visual novels or full-fledged video games like Summertime Saga require a team to develop. Nobody wants to support solo projects that take six months to release an update anymore.

Darkcookie is a tough example to follow because he was one of the first western devs making long form narrative porn games that he distributed for free in a world of torrenting bad translations of Japanese VNs and western porn games that were zone style flash animations. He also updated the game after release. Added more content, more characters, more scenes, more RPG stuff etc. I wouldn't say the content is particularly well drawn or particularly well written but the fact that he had actually put it out there and was regularly updating it gave him a lot of support. You could attribute the success of creators like Dark Cookie and Akbar to arriving on the ground floor of this particular kind of game but also staying with a community of fans for the duration. Now the market is pretty saturated. I would aim for a successful itch io release rather than a gigantic patreon empire.

Same process as usual I guess >learn to draw the subject you want to draw first in the case of pr0n games, this is having a good grasp at anatomy. Depending on the art style used and on the type of body the characters have, this can vary a bit. >understand the type of audience you want to draw in for the game different audiences tend to prefer different art styles, and the art style should match the vibe of the game. >communication between the devs and th artist gotta have that so that everyone understands the project as is on the same wavelength. Makes it easier to do what the dev wants.After that, you need to advertise your art and wait for it to get a dev's attention. Post on twitter or pixiv or wherever the hell, try to make your art style unique, try to do fanart of well-known stuff, etc.
