You might look through some depictions of the saints. Barth here was flayed alive-- he's carrying his own skin as a wrap. Granted, the figure is a celebration of the saint, but it shows the awfulness that he suffered. There's a lot more of this fella out there-- holding his own skin out like it's some dead animal, spreading it before him like a matador, etc. You might check St. Sebastian, the human pincushion, too.

Not too long ago a painting went viral because a couple did some kind of TikTok challenge and some guy painted his girlfriend like this, and everyone got creeped out.
He likely didn't mean harm and he even looks like a sweet guy, but even for me, a person who often visits /gif/ for rekt threads and gore art doesn't make flinch even a little bit, I found it disturbing and it even made me sense a weird kind of evilness emanating from her portrait.No painting or snuff video have ever made me feel that way, and I don't know why. She really does look like a burn victim, but there's something else about it.

I recall there was this one eastern european animator, who created all their work with collages, but they used a lot of genitalia, there was something very 'evil' feeling about his work.

There's this woman who has an ongoing comic about two of her OCs in a super sadistic, fetishistic relationship. The woman is implied to have been gang-raped and Glasgowed when she was younger, which apparently gave her a rape fetish. Meanwhile, the guy is a sadistic pedophile who constantly cheats on his wife with his own high school students, and his wife knows about it (it's one of their many kinks).
At one point, the woman even gets surgery to have her clit removed so she can never orgasm again (since orgasm denial is another one of her kinks)
The comic is so depraved that readers are constantly worried something terrible happened to the author, and she has to keep reassuring everyone that it isn't the case.
