In my late twenties, I have finally accepted that for me to become good at making comics that I'm probably going to have to accept the fact that I'm going to die a virgin and that I'll never be in a relationship ever again. As a man, if I truly follow my dream career, I won't be able to provide anything for a woman nor will I have a family. This much I have accepted. Women are privileged enough in the Art field because usually they are partnered up with someone who works in the STEM field, but I, as a man, will need to accept the possibility of living and dying a poor man for this creative field and never reproducing.I'm fine with it, but the problem is explaining to normies as to why I don't have a good career or kids or a house when they pry in my personal life about it. Is it attractive to a new person when they ask you what you do, and you say "I draw comics" as a man? What about when you're new in the workplace and your hobbies aren't watching sports or drinking?
