What do you suggest?
I like some thing local that will not start extorting for subscription money.
Something pirated or GPL(Linux).
I did hear people use blender however I need some rigs for that.
Any suggestions?
PS: Picture is from some (((WEB))) app (very dirty word)

What benefit is there to using these web apps over Blender? At least DesignDoll has shape keys built in and an intuitive way of positioning joints, but these apps don't seem to offer anything that standard 3D modelling applications don't have.

hack at it until you get good at it.
professional manga artists who used to have a beautiful natty style have plummeted after exactly such an "upgrade".

Blender with the MakeHuman addon is decent once you know how to navigate Blender and pose a standard rig.I prefer blender for what it offers over everything else. Hdri lighting, fov, complete control, etc.
