How would one describe this artstyle beyond shit like "bean mouth" and such (since I don't think anyone actually does the bean mouth anymore)? I don't actually think it's ugly (but rather a little boring and flat) and I don't dislike it off of associations with "lesser" trannies since I'm not totally self-loathing but I'm paranoid one could clock me being FtM off of my artstyle alone. Something I do notice is thick-ish lineart with that "fluffy" brush and not much variation in line weight, as well as this awkward mix of anime and western cartoon influence (pot calling the kettle black if I ever showed my art, I know).

Your tastes are dictated by the communities and content you consume. If you eat shit all day, you'll develop tastes for shit. It's why you should look around in many places for things you like. There's a reason being well traveled was a compliment for the longest time before it became a past time for neo babies. Being exposed to different cultures and ideas allows you to expand your tastes and refine your own creations. As ugly as this style is, you should ask yourself why it is you dislike it so much and make note of it so at the very least you're actively refining your tastes.

That's why it looks like a combination of 90s anime shoujo and modern american cartoons. Its style is based on the artist's tastes, who is most likely a woman in her early to late 30s who watched a lot of anime as girl and turned into a dyke after being treated like shit by bad men.Pay no mind to it.
