The heads and faces are easily the worst parts of your works. I think you'd do better either committing to authentic anime (as opposed to the current style which feels like symbol drawing above the neck) or committing to a more realistic / pseudo-realistic style.

You say "should" like there is some sort of cosmic arrangement that it should align with. Would it be nice? Sure, but it's not practical in the world we live in. Should artists work for nothing? Nah, no one is obliged to make shit for other people for free. Short sighted grifters who don't want to pay for shit complain about it, but they're scum who can be ignored.
