Our friend has a good point about the lack of compositional depth in these paintings.Having seen the Amazon myself, I can say that there is no composition that kind of nature.I think the realism is the point and the reality is that the rainforest is a messy place that doesn’t follow any rules but its own. Here chaos is the truth and it is naked and alien to man’s standards of beauty.This moved me, reminded me of being surrounded by this wall of green. Felt like I was on an alien world.
