Anyone else still use Chaturbate? I used to visit the site a lot in the late 2010s and early 2020s, but I switched jobs in 2022 and the new job had me traveling non stop and I stopped visiting it. I ended up losing that job in August due to layoffs and Since I had free time, decided to visit Chaturbate again and all my favorite male cam models are gone and the people using it boring as fuck.
Is the site really worthless now?

It's experienced a depressing gradual decline. It was fun as fuck until about 2016 which is when those goddamn pink vibrator things showed up and from that point forward it was just apathetic fags sitting in front of the camera looking barely alive, scrolling through twitter on their phones in silence just waiting for someone to tip so that they can convulse theatrically as if the vibrator was a taser. Highly grotesque.
But for those first few years it was great. Nowadays I don't even go on it anymore because I live in a faggoty ass red state and I can't be fucked to bypass the age verification thing every time I want to see what's up, especially if I know the answer is probably not much.

The only account I followed on Chaturbate, which was a bunch of average looking twinks in their early/mid 20s who in another lifetime, if they had not gotten swept into the lifestyle of fast money made via camming, probably would have been podcasters/youtubers.They did themed shows, did role play stuff, and on some nights would just shoot the shit with the viewers talking nerd shit like movies, tv shows, anime, video games, and normal life. Really cool stuff. But they decided one day to quit out of the blue, though they left a decent sized currated Onlyfans page of their greatest hits.

My chief issue with Chaturbate was always that people who did private (which was tolerable in so far as Chaturbate saving a copy of your private show, so long as the other person didn't disable it) often charged obscene to the point of why fucking bother, token prices for it. Like 100-300 tokens per minute with a minimum of 10-15 minutes you had to pay for before they'd even consider it. If you were rich and or didn't give a shit about going into overdraft, fine but at the prices they charge for tokens and everything, a private show could cost you more than a Nintendo Switch
