New Pre Columbian codex dropped
They've carbon dated a book called the Aubin Tonalámatl and the date is set at around 1494

Carbon dating has a ±1σ accuracy of about ±100 years at 500BP, so the exact date must depend on other considerations.
Apparently the source is this book, I would also be interested to to see their reasoning why the codex material dates to 1424.
