Silly. Governments don't run out of other people's money when they themselves print it.

the problem with neoliberalism is that you eventually run out of labor's surplus value.

Funny thing, coming from somebody who just straight up funneled tax money to politically connected company owners.

The problem with neo-liberalism is the country goes to shit because you didn't invest and so see no profit and imported 10 million shitskins to under-cut domestic workers.

She was refuted by the British proving themselves unable to stand up and be responsible for their own life, therefore deserving to be subjects to a king for the rest of their lives.

What point is there to refute? That socialism is when the government raises taxes to fund insolvent social programs?Capitalist countries do that already. Except you don't even get adequate social services. Just taxes.

Trying to paint spending money on infrastructure, social services, maintenence, healthcare and education (everything that's the hallmark of a developed state) as "socialism" was the worst propaganda line ever spouted in history.

Yes, the USSR had a budget completely in the black before Gorbachev lmao. It was not in debt before Gorbachev nuked the economy. The only Socialist state that largely lived off the IMF was Yugoslavia.
The reason for Soviet Collapse was the state was set up structurally like a old Imperial Chinese bureaucratic dynasty run by scheming eunuchs and any checks and balances against corruption disappearing post-Stalin, to the point that literal every day life ran on bribes. (Want to see a doctor? bring a gift, Want to get your mail? Give the postman a gift, Want to see your boss, bring his secretary AND the boss a gift.)

Thatcher is possibly the worst leader a western Democratic country has ever had. Thatcher's hatred for socialism just proves that socialism is correct.

What was the boomer obsession with socialism anyway? All boomers from the US and UK ever talk about is socialism. Oh shit, the government might spend some of those trillions in taxes on actually helping citizens instead of just bailing out banks and buying fighter jets? Sounds absolutely terrible. Fucking boomers man

Pew 2024 survery, share of respondents saying benefits should not be cut in any way, broken down by age:
>18-29: 73%
>30-49: 76%
>50-64: 85%
>65+: 82%
No age cohort ever reached 80% support for Israel, not today or in the past - with the sole exception of January 1991 when support for Israel saw a huge but short-lived spike during the Gulf War.
