Who cares if Germany lost territory, what matters is that the Memellanders and Danzigers were no longer at the mercy of forced Polonization and Lithuanization.

He didnt really fight the allies and thats why he was successful.
The Turkish revolution was fought almost exclusively against the Greeks who themselves tried to landgrab more than the treaty of Sevres stipulated.The allies (UK and France) pretty much just grabbed their share out of the Ottoman empire in the south and consolidated that instead of getting involved in a huge civil war that would force them to mobilize again.Also, the main reason why the turks were successful was because they had genocided their Greek, Armenian and Assyrian minorities just a couple of years earlier. They had already created a homogenous Turkey there and then.
