Many people make the argument that people in picrel are not "brown" because they come from Europe. His skin IS brown and no amount of genetic clustering will change that. Use European as the race. He is European but objectively speaking his skin is brown and not white.

there's no point in hairsplitting terminology anon, white = european. keep it simple.
detailed racial classifications are not really interesting to most people and are not politically relevant today, but the exact racial traits of white/european groups would be the subject matter of such fields. in general, physiologically i think northern europeans definitely present different traits, but ethnoculturally and politically that's not that important. future policy can deal with that questoin. for now europeans have other problems to address.
