I'm forced to exist as the sole frame of reference for material reality and only persistently real person in the world but the world and everyone else in it are obviously controlled by something that is separate from me and hostile and opposed to me or I wouldn't be living a miserable life of poverty being dominated and abused by sadists. If I was in "a dream of my own making" then I would have significantly more control over it.If I was the only consciousness in reality then I could impose my will on reality and nothing could oppose it whereas my will is opposed in even the most minor ways.
