DLsite got a new method of buying points a bit ago, ViviON Points. You know the drill, we don't accept Visa and Mastercard because they're puritan fucks, so buy points at this place that does and use them here.
Tried to make a purchase through them. 20.25 USD, though the page says "Payment will be settled in TWD. USD price is only for reference." That's Taiwanese dollars; for reference, 20.25 USD is 646.33 TWD. Alright, whatever, fair enough, confirm purchase with credit card.
Except my card's declined. A bit of texts and calls latter and I find out they were trying to charge me 646.33 USD, and thankfully my bank's good enough to go "whoa, hold the fuck up."
If you're trying to get hentai off DLsite, don't use this shit. I don't know if it's malice or incompetence, but either way it's a fucking scam.

I did use the ViviOn option to buy some points a few months ago. It does look weird during the transaction, but I used a prepaid mastercard because I do have concerns about mistakes like this. See picture how it looked, especially the purchase part with -$665.06, but transaction was in TWD
