I use it from time to time to this day, I don't think it's that good without premium if you want to do "advanced" stuff but it's great for beginners

Work in a print shop and it is a great tool for people who don't know what they are doing but would rather learn and save a money and it saves me time. Even for basic GD use I would still recommend it - you don't need indesign to make a booklet. It is SO much better if we have to edit their design vs the same kind of people that buy photoshop and send shit layering with loads of transparency issues. Once they finish their project I tell them to just share via canva for us to download. 100/10 UI is also not bad.

The company I'm working for rn has their entire GD departement using Canva and while I think it's a solid option for beginner designers , I can't recommend it because a lot of the features end up being crutches that won't help you improve as a Graphic Designer .
For example : a lot the GD team uses templates for their work , yet when I ask them do they know layout , spacing , safe zones and whatnot they dont know shit .
Imo Affinity is wayy better as a free alternative
