Well: I did go through the proper channels and was told to expect a decision by the end of... yesterday UTC.So it doesn't look GREAT but the jury's still out. If we get in I think it's probably best to leave polls and updates until after a cycle of being back. And if it's not accepted, well, shit... I/we can try again in 6 months. Maybe one of the original guys will come back with milk and cigs...Damn though when I remembered this one, they did a pretty decent/believable job on this one. Shame about the title of the movie.

The site is alive, the cup starts in 6 hours, and our first group stage match back is tomorrow! As a function of convenience (and me being admittedly a little inept) the team lineup is a slight "retro reboot" but a vast majority of team is recognizable, classic players. Same goes for the music (with some tweaks here and there), and everything else about the team is timeless. We hit the pitch, see how it feels to be back, and after it all we can talk changes for next cup. ...well, that's what I get for only signing up as a "caretaker" and not giving up the chance to do any of the tactics. That matches the worst result in the team's history from... 2014. Granted we took every curse we possibly could (Hank's unlucky, that free Kerning was a virus, etc.) but still, jeez. Just gotta hope we make it back next weekend on Friday and Sunday. At least we're back, right? (...right?)

Well, I quit.Not because of that match, but because I'd already been planning it six months ago before we accidentally made it to Winter after that funny /mlp/ game. I can't even luckshit anymore, though, and Kerning deserves a real manager who can give him fun models AND manage games. I will admit I DO feel bad stepping away just as /3/ comes back, but them's the breaks.I'm not ghosting or anything, so if you need any files or stuff from me, I'll be around. I always thought these that the long-time previous manager did were neat, but the team will need proof of interest to play again in Autumn, I think. If there is interest, I will handle caretaking just for a cup or two. Though, I don't think white-text on yellow backgroud was a smart move.
