AI is here to stay and I would say the majority of people agree with that. There's retards online who thinks it's still a fad and will die, and they're a small vocal minority. What most people agree on is it's a bubble that has an unsustainable amount of investment coming in from all directions like a 100 man simultaneous bukakke. Eventually 90% of those investors are gonna lose out and only a handful of AI companies will be left to take the entire pot.

I think AI is perfectly fine in theory. I have issues with it's current implementation. The fact that you need dozens, if not hundreds, of data centers to run AI makes it unsustainable. The only reason it just weeks right now is through government subsidies. Once those are gone and these AI companies need to be profitable, it's going to collapse. Unironically, I think any AI company focused on locally run AI models will come out ahead in all this.

However, you can engineer around it, you can take the mistakes into account, you can add steps that actually test if it's a mistake or not, and depending on the field, you can make something that the LLM is only right 2% of the time, and make it incredibly useful by just filtering the correct ones, like with exploit/bug finding or turning denuvo into paste.However vibe coding is fucking retarded, and running AI agents on your machine is fucking retarded and half.
