You know this is real right? I had to film a begging session for a security job "to be analyzed by expert AI."

Paid a $16k tuition to a coding bootcamp a few months after quitting my retail sales job out of frustration. They sold me a flowerly image of high-paying fullstack web dev jobs. We learned Java/Spring, Vue, and CSS/HTML. Most people in my cohort didn't know how to install VS Code on their system, let alone write fizz buzz in Java. I was already leagues ahead in terms of programming knowledge, but web dev was new to me.I graduated 3 years ago from that. I've submitted quite literally thousands of applications. Only had a few interviews where I was told that students get hired from my specific bootcamp all the time, and all the graduates are great developers. Then I just get ghosted. I had my resume reviewed by the bootcamp's team. It was supposed to be a no brainer. Now I've given up completely. It feels completely pointless to even try. Results for junior devs on the job boards are down to near zero. Those jobs expect a 4-year degree plus 5 years experience. AI has made it even more bleak.I've since abandoned web dev entirely. I just code things that are fun for me in my spare time. I have fun working with AI, too. It's probably better this way. At least I know that when I write code, it's for the pure enjoyment of it rather than to survive.

Dear anon,Thank you for completing our 8 part interview for this entry level role. We appreciate your mandatory consent allowing us to retain your DNA and psych profiles for training our AI to screen future candidates. Unfortunately, whileyou were technically excellent, our hiring manager Mr Vishnupedo Patel has determined you are not a good fit at this time. We have decided to move on to other candidates. Best of luck with your job search! >the candidates they moved on with:

If I received that would send the video of the guy eating his poop, every 30 minutes from a different domain, to all of their leaders, board members. Of course, some might like it.

Just a few more years and job search will require a mandatory blowjob.

1. Go in for job interview with fake identity 2. Rob HR bitch with a gun (kill her) 3. Take her purse 4. Drain her cards at nearby ATM You think I'm kidding but this is what is actually going to start happening if things don't improve.

4 months since graduating and I feel I can no longer go with the label “new grad” now that it’s fall semester. Window’s closed, now I’m just gonna work on personal projects and open source until something happens or I have a handful of shipped projects out then try again.
