Basically the setup from scratch is:
Rent a short term VPS, tunnel through that to a VPN provider, then get a VPN service there.
Why not keep the VPS? Mainly because they tend to have worse bandwidth limits. You could use it just fine if you don't have much Rx/Tx

It's a pity you can't reasonably fight against these laws without someone calling you a nonce.I do think a lot of these cases where kids kill themselves because the internet told them to is being grossly misrepresented too, the kids were probably depressed, their parents were probably contributing to the situation or dismissing it in such a way they didn't help. Just to point out there are some privacy friendly age verification methods. Now i'm not 100% researched on it but the EU's system sounds good on paper, since it's open source.Essentially you verify once, and it generates an anonymous token that will be accepted by sites. No need to verify on every site individually, and supposedly and i stress supposedly, they won't have access to your ID details just this hex that says you are a legal adult.
Since it's open source i assume security and privacy specialists can look into it to make sure if this is true in any way.
