I thought I wouldn't post this but I must. So long story short I went to this gothic afternoony (you know that thing) party, the co-organizer is a gothic alternative chick I like very much. I followed the previous advice I asked here, I put effort into my goth attire:
- Comfort dance shoes for plenty movement and techno dance mini jumps.
- Halloween orange thighs highs
- Traditional Ukrainen embroidery inspired shirt (because Slava Ukraine) .
- Gothic Scholar Lolita skirt. No miniskirt = Alt rnative but Law-abiding citizen
- Fishnets, an emblem of alternative and bold yet suggestive outcast souls (hide and not).
- Dog collar, kinky IYKYK
but this wasn't successful, she saw me some times and looked away, she avoided the place I was at. It was my first time there I found myself at home, they were inclusive and I took turns at the ballooj throws and habdfun. I'm not sure. maybe she shy or nervous or whatever. I can handle rejection and avoidance tho, I respect women.
Tldr give attire/styleadvice. I had fun so I plan to go to these events.

holy shit I didnt think I'd see another update from you, its cool that your still developing a look.
My advise would be to add some more textures and visual interest. Simplest addition would be some bracelets, wouldnt have to be those huge studded ones just some beads to add detail without being too impractical. I would also recommend you start looking into a leather kilt. Its seems to me that at this point you are quite set on this silhouette, but I feel that your still missing that one standout piece. While a leather kilt would be somewhat costly its also striking enough to work as a conversation starter, your goal is to get a girls attention and something like that wouldnt be out of place at a goth club. Another plus is that it would allow you to wear belts with your outfits, which as of now is another missed opportunity.

You look very much like a baby queer trying to get into the scene.
Goth fashion is primarily about texture and layering. Masculine looks can get away with less, but realistically you want something more formal and vampiresque.
Look to actual goth musicians in the 80s. Pete Murphy, Andrew Eldritch, Nick Cave etc. These are your blueprint. If you do want something more feminine with skirts, go look at Rozz Williams.
And don't dance jumpstyle. Check out industrial dancing or goth dancing, there's plenty of stuff online.
