I really enjoy the colorway and design language of that watch. If it had a bezel I wouldn't want any "back play" on it.

In the last week I've seen three different watch reviewers oddly use the word "proud" to describe something sitting higher or apart from the watch. What the fuck is this stupid trend?>and the crystal sits 'proud' of the case by a little bitThey mustn't continue this. It annoys me.

This moron (18786126) still has no idea, no clue, that design is it's own field, with specific terms.

I know talking about apple watch is more of a /g/ thing, but I want to put a very expensive 18K gold and palladium accented watch band that I inherited on my series 12 titanium radiant gold apple watch, aside from going to a local jeweller and making a custom one, does anybody know of a brand that makes high end 316L steel or titanium adapters?

Can anyone tell what watch he's wearing? I've seen a couple homage watches that look like it too but I don't know what they're replicating.

Lads, I am after a new watch. I have a Tudor Pelagos 39, a few vintage Seikos and have owned a fair amount of watches over the years.I think I want an either a Rolex explorer or explorer 2. A 16570 explorer 2 with a white dial or 124270 explorer, which is the current model 36mm.What one would you pick? I don’t mind smaller sized watches, have the money to afford it, 30 years old, usually dress casually for work and personal life. Like the white dial explorer because of how different it is to my current Tudor, like the original explorer because of its small size and classic look

Most brands are so fucking shit that their name on the dial only makes the watch worse.

This is my biggest, thickest watch at 41mm and 15mm thick. I like it but would never buy anything bigger.

I'm getting an open heart watch but there's a lot to choose from. These Orients, the OP Bulova which is $264 and 41mm with mineral glass, and the 40mm Citizens that either have gold tone or hands I don't like or some other compromise. Except that blue and silver one that you can't actually buy. I should have bought that 36mm Zeppelin open heart with the Miyota 9205 for $250 when I had the chance. If anyone has any suggestions for open hearts under 40mm and under $400 let me know.

And now this one is back at $459 but it says 'limited quantity', and the last time I bought it they jerked me around for three weeks and said they didn't know when it was coming in so I pulled out. Early Christmas gift I'm telling myself. The only thing I don't 100% like about it is the fluted bezel. It just makes it almost too dressy for everyday wear. Or does it? Maybe I could grind it down and brush it or fill it in with Bondo. haha A lot of money for a watch but I want that Precisionist movement and I love a TV dial. This one fixes everything I didn't like about the 38mm.

Or I could roll the dice on one of these $275 Chinese tourbillons. But I probably won't.

A Datograph Perpetual, on a platinum bracelet, with baguette diamond markers. Thoughts?
