there's two aspects to this. one is your actual outfit. i think it's hard to look bad in a well fitted suit with nice a nice fabric. so perhaps the suit itself is part of the problem if you have an ugly, ill-fitting suit. the second is due to your self-image. perhaps you associate a certain image to the people that wear suits and you don't see yourself as being that. you therefore think you're pretending to be something you're not and by feeling like an imposter, you end up feeling like a dork. you can have a really nice outfit, but if you don't think you can pull it off, it'll show in your body language and mannerisms and it'll end up looking bad on you. something to think about
