Why are clerks in brand name stores so snooty and cringe?
They feel like they're giving you the cure for cancer instead of some marked up made in china resell
It's such bizarre behavior. They seem to think they are doing you a favor for interacting with you and doing their jobs lmao
This does not inspire passion or loyalty for their brands at all

you're a retarded moron who doesn't understand how the world works. you think you have this whole thing figured out better than the richest brands on earth? you think you know more about making money than companies that often make more than entire nations?luxury sales associates being assholes isn't a bug it's a feature.you are supposed to feel insecure as shit.you are supposed to want to spend money to impress / dunk on the sales associate.they are supposed to warm up to you when you spend.you are supposed to feel like you won somehow.you are supposed to keep going back and spending more to catch that high.you are supposed to feel terrified of having to return anything.you are supposed to watch them be assholes to other people and feel special they're nice to you now.this is basic fucking psychology, it was mapped out decades ago, these companies have been employing this shit to print money.then you, like the absolute fucking idiot you are, think you know better and they would make more if they were nice to people.no they fucking wouldn't.because that already exists. there are tons of cheap mass market stores in the mall where the sales associates are instructed to bend over backwards and suck the customers dick. you know what happens? people treat those stores like shit. they use those stores for entertainment. walk in, try shit on and leave. if they do rarely buy something half the time they return it.they walk all over the employees at those stores. they don't think "wow the sales associates here are so nice, I'll spend lots of money". they think "why the fuck are these people sucking up to me, what losers, this place is obviously for lames".

There is a simple way to defeat them. Send in the Indians. That is their kryptonite. Put in a tech company near the store and Indians will make their lives miserable. They will talk down to them, destroy their store, and bring in 4 generations at once while touching everything and attempting to haggle. They will have to air out clothes they try on for hours with a fan.

the majority of their sales revenue comes from lower/middle class people. by acting this way, it accentuates the feeling of inferiority they have and increases the desire to prove themselves to be "above" their social class, which takes the form of buying things. so it's a sales tactic

how do you present in these stores? I have a client who sells expensive clothes, and he says he might give attitude to people if he thinks they are just their to window shop, which takes up his time and leads to no money for him.
