Dont worry. I've figured out the key to posting pictures in the correct orientation. One most hold thier phone in landscape mode. This is how its done. Also my ribeye is coming along nicely. But it will need more time.

I got this pink rubber thing for my casioak and it fits my hand better but I get weird feelings and I'm willing to bet it's toxic. It's some fkm o algo. I wish it was normal silicon. I'm fine with these but no it's some fansy shit I can't wear. Fuck. Every single watch I have after the one I got from a shop after trying it on my hand has been shit for one reason or another. buying watches online is beyond retarded.

quartz mech makers need to make this watch:ticks smoothly (at least 4 HZ) when worn second hand is not ticking at all when not worn (simple sensor) when equipped - second hand catches up to where it needs to be solar poweredTicking wastes power alright, but it doesnt need to tick when its in the closet or on the stand. Easy save battery + get the sweep that I after all love and crave in a watch. Best of both worlds, battery can now keep up and I get the smooth sweep to enjoy.If someone high up makes it, Id be interested.Simple enough mechanically to pull off, wouldnt add much cost to produce etc, wouldnt even be risky or detrimental to watch.But it would probably open up to quartz part of watch industry, a lot of people who miss the sweep but dont want to be limited to Bulova, GS and few cheaper Seikos.Seriously. Make that watch you lurking big watch corpo man.

hey /fa/ggots, I just bought the basic tools and a ST36 movement to start in the watch repair hobby, according to that Watch Repair Tutorials guy now I just have to wait some 2 long weeks until everything arrives I'm a huge nerd for mechanical stuff and a somewhat fast learner how long do you guys think it would take for me to properly learn how to repair simple automatic watches then those with daydate (like old Seiko 5s) or a GMT complication? I'm not anxious, just curious also would like some tips on the hobby if you'd like to share
