Fashion is cope. Prove me wrong. We live in the era of looksmaxxing, plastic surgery, fillers, Botox, and steroids: actual interventions that change your bone structure, skin, and frame. Meanwhile half this board will drop $2k on a fit and spend 4 hours a day on grail searching for le perfect item. Clothes are a multiplier, not a fix. If you're already a 6.7/10, sure, dialing in your wardrobe MIGHT push you to a 7. But the average person here isn't a marginal case, they're a 5, a dwarf, or both, and no amount of Rick Owens is closing that gap. You're optimizing the least impactful variable in the stack while ignoring the ones that actually move the needle. Change my mind.

Not wrong Its not something you shouldnt go all in on as your only thing. Fashion is kind of pointless if you are just a tub of lard. It can also help make up for shortcomings you can't control (eg the modern obsession with a mans height).You also never know who you can run into so it is best to present yourself in a professional manner. eg I was at a workplace party years ago and most guys showed up looking like hoods from the street (this was a Military event). I was the only enlisted man that showed up dressed professionally. I got razzed pretty hard by the others at my rank level for it but the guests of honor (one of them a CEO of a major corporation in my nation, and several high ranking Officers) took notice of me. I was selected before some soldiers who had years of experience over me to attend a leadership course a few months later and the CEO gave me his card if I ever decided I needed a job after I got out.

Let's take clavicular as an example. Typically he dresses in slim tapered pants and polo shirts which make him look like young sheldon. His outfits are largely horrible except when curated by other people.
