High end/couture fashion peaked in 1998 and Galliano won.
It's embarrassing to see what passes as couture these days honestly. Terrible attempts to stay relevant with Zooms and Zoomer/Millennial designers themselves having terminally shit tier hype beast inspired aesthetics and tastes

I think the last time I looked at couture was Valentino, and that's only credible because Michele is such an unapologetic baroque maximalist. Otherwise, it feels like a totally dead arena.
