Besides Rolex, what watch brand is actually trying their best and cares deeply about watches? Grand Seiko? Sinn? Nomos? All of the high horology brands have great movements but not in a compelling package like Rolex. (e.g. Royal Oak at 5bar WR lmao.) Rolex needs a legit contender because the watch landscape is pretty fucking boring. Almost everything looks like dogshit.
