What do you consider good aesthetics?I really liked the aesthetics in the Alien franchise. Firefly was ok too. John Carpenter's sci-fi films usually had pretty good costuming. Even Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick had some good costuming in some of the supporting cast. I think it has more to do with the utter creative bankruptcy of the last couple decades more so than anything inherent to science fiction.
