after two massive W's with angels share and apple brandy on the rocks i decided to get decants of black phantom and straight to heaven. hopes were high but honestly im confused. straight to heaven smells just like terre dhermes to me and black phantom is very meh. what are some other kilians i need to try?

I tried Envy generic oil and was disappointed, it smelled like a more multifaceted Drakkar Intense or something, with a touch of tobacco/vanilla which doesn't suit this frag very well. I think GO's give at least some point of reference?

incredibly strong. extremely smoky, but I can detect a little bit of tea, resin, and I think booze somewhere underneath.

Ralph Lauren Polo tech tree is the one that fucks. Simply good and decent smells so far, yet to try the green one. Fair price too.Blind bought Bulgari Glacial Essence and Hugo Boss Hugo '21 (edt). They are alright, the latter is rather relevant in this month as it smells like pine needles and resin. Bulgari is a bit simple for it's price thoIf anyone had Kouros, how does it really smell? Reading conflicting opinions on that one all the time.

Are people here actually into niche fragrances? Here is my collection. I'll probably sell neroli, shukran and sacreste soon. Neroli is totally fine, but just abit meh. The other scents I don't really like to put on.I adore Kashmir. Love the vanilla sawdust vibes. Song for a Wanderer is very interesting but sometimes abit funky. Very earthy and smells abit different everytime i put it on. Terre d'Hermes and Pine&Sandelwood are great everyday scents, although Pine is sometimes abit to soapy, sandalwoody.

Confession time: I only wear fresh scents. Not necessarily aquatics or showergel type frags, but still fresh. Even in winter. I don't like overly sweet frags like gourmands. And all the stuff recommended for fall and winter is usually pretty heavy and pretty sweet. I like it lighter and fresher. I think fresh scents always work whereas heavy stuff usually only works when it's cooler. And since I work indoors I am very rarely exposed to cold weather for longer periods.
My standard rotation consists of 3 frags. Esencia EDP by Loewe, Orage by Louis Vuitton, Percival by PdM. On really hot days I also like to wear Agua El by Loewe.
