I got independently wealthy in 2009 off the back of basically flipping land I bought that the government bought up. Turned my initial 450k investment into 5 million and then turned that into over 10 million through smart investments etc.
Due to being in my early 20's at the time and having more money than I ever though possible, I didn't go down the mid life crisis waste it all on fast cars and whores, instead I put it into more businesses and my only thing to splurge on was building my own enormous home gym and fragrances.
Fragrances being relatively cheap as fuck even for the expensive ones, for me relatively were basically nothing. I bought almost every fragrance released, from obscure, to the ones fragrantica hipsters love, high end ouds from Arab countries I visited, got some custom shit made for myself at 20k.
After maybe spending 300k on fragrances from 2009 to the present day, there are only four fragrances, all ones you guys would hate, that consistently get complimented. Anywhere I wear them, I get at least one compliment from a woman, not including guy comments in here:
1.Sauvage EDT (the edp/parfum and elix not as complimented)
2. Spicebomb extreme
3. BOSS the scent parfum
4. Versace eros EDP
5. Lush sticky dates body spray
Aventus, Tom frod, Killian, rouge 540, amouage, none of the posh shit ever pulled a fraction of these five i listed.
Men often asked about other fragrances more, for example the oud zarian, the thameen palace, but for women, of fuckable age i wanted to fuck, the five normie, affordable mainstream fragrances I listed got far far more attention.
I still buy fragrances for myself to try, but if I am out to smash, I am pretty much only ever using the 5 listed above.

Well I got the BOSS The Scent - Ambery & Woody Fragrance With Notes Of Ginger, Maninka Fruit, Leather Accords. So yeah we're probably agreed that it's alright and I have been complimented on it before.Yeah chicks like it. But also who gives a fuck what women think?

I went the same route more or less.I had dumb money to spend to i tried luxury niche:
>every Parfum de Marly
>Creed
>Dyptique
>Profumum Roma
>Acqua di Parma
... and so on, and many many designer fragrances.No niche ever gave me a compliment except Parfum de Marly Layton because it's basically just designer fragrance with a huge markup.
But anything more niche had me zero reaction other than "it smells like banana, who ate a banana in here??" or "it smells like rotten cabbage" (Dyptique Phylosykos).My go to now are Montblanc Explorer in cold weather (got me many compliments) and Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi in hot weather (got me zero compliments but i wear it for myself).
