Any reccs for good shoes for walking around on flat surfaces like sidewalks and roads? Would prefer Nike or Adidas but I'm open to whatever and is below $120. i like 11s as a concept but don't own any because i'm not sure i could pull them off. i didn't pick these up, i wasn't sure if they were going to sell out, if they didn't i was gonna look for a discounted pair later. but they did sell out which was surprising to me.
maybe it shouldn't be, it is an 11 after all, but the rare air series this year hasn't been very well received from what i've seen and i saw a lot of people specifically clowning on this pair in particular. but i think they're very cool.

dumb question but how strong are gore tex material on running shoes?
i bought a pair of running shoes like a year ago but since i have pretty wide feet, theres already a hole where the pinky is.
would buying a gore tex version of running shoes help slow down the rate of wear and tear or would it not make a difference? im just assuming goretex is just a little stronger than just regular knitted shoes."just buy wider shoes" im sure someone is going to say. yes, i do try to buy as wide as possible or even size up a bit but some times sizing up doesnt feel comfortable due to shoe slippage.

I need to get a pair of running shoes from one of the big running shoe companies but I don’t want to shell out the $150+ for them. Apparently if you buy online you get the 30 day try and return if you don’t like it policy for a full refund. What if I was to go on eBay and get a used pair for cheap, then buy the same pair online, and near the end of the return window, send the old ones back saying I didn’t like them and then keep the brand new pair they sent me?
