You need elevation for a water hammer to work. Or the intention was to put needlessly complicated plumbing on a pump, then good job.

That doesn't look like a very fast flowing creek, probably not a large gradient. Don't think that's a rampump.

You can create a pump similar to this quite easily. Trompe system with a collection container at the bottom, funnel above to let the pressurised air raise water level above starting point. You could capture that raised water level in other containers at that raised level with a valve for when you want the water, but the flow rate for the actual lifting system is quite slow so it would take a while to refill if you drain it completely
