mine works well after several upgrades and a lot of tuning but I've had it for years and the new stuff is 1000 times easier to get good prints out of.

me omw to buy a 3d printer at a thrift store: gee i just don't already have enough plastic tat and useless garbage in my house, maybe with this i can add some more and turn into a woman at the same time from all the estrogen fumes and then post on reddit about it.
its hot plastic melted together poorly. nothing useful was ever made on a 3d printer and if it was it wouldn't last a week. grow up.

Theres a bunch of cool conversion projects that start off of an ender3 like thr wire EDM rack robo made
So being able to pick one up for dirt cheap seems like a great deal even if its just for parts

I got an ender 3 pretty cheap a few years back off a buddy of mine. His sister got it as a gift, he assembled it incorrectly, then nobody ever used it. The mainbaord had a fried driver out of the box so I replaced it with an upgraded version. Now I've got it running klipper and I'm debating making some more hardware upgrades. My goal is to at least triple the print speed while also improving print quality compared to out of the box performance. Anyone have any recommendations for quieter fans that can also support a more powerful hotend? It doesn't need to be a direct bolt on replacement, I don't mind printing an adapter.

what is the point of getting something like bambulab?
is it just the faster print?
I have an Ender 3S1 and have used Prusa and Bambulab and there's literally zero difference in quality of print, the Ender prints just as fast as the Prusa, the Bambu can go about 30% faster which is super nice, but it's 6x the price.
