all I want is a shed to do my work in. is that so much to ask?
How does one go about acquiring cheap land in the uk to build a shed on? ideally in an industrial area so no one will complain about power tool noise or hammering noise or smoke. I saw one unit for sale near me recently for 100k, didn't even have an outdoor yard, but you can get an entire house for that with a yard.

Rent some space on a farm. It used to be cheap to buy old industrial stuff - like old mine yards but not as common now, although older worked out quarries can be relatively cheap, where the permission to quarry wasn’t tied to restoration and they are just left.
