When I worked factory maintenance, most issues could be fixed with an insulated flathead screwdriver, a meter, 6” knipex pliers, tape, zipties, and a leatherman rebar without having to go back to the shop and get my roll around box.

I think this is a case where a pic is worth a thousand words, no point typing it all out. Mostly had it set up for the multi-year process of cleaning out and fixing up my old house and then getting the new one set up, now that I'm settled in the same tools are all in my box in the garage but I can throw the kit back together in a few minutes when something needs attention.

Don't really have a kit because I have a million tools and I just grab what I need.
But lots of the time I just need a knife or scissors or philips screwdriver, and I have those in my multitool

my problem solving kit is a rolling tool bag that lives in the trunk of my car. I evaluate what I need and fetch it, if it's going to be an involved task I either pull the bag out and roll it up to where I'm working, or if it's an outdoors situation, I just back the car up as close as possible and work out of the trunk

Any recommendations for a strong adhesive for everyday fixes? I use the little bottles of Loctite super glue, but the adhesive gets hard in the bottle over time and becomes unusable.

Measuring tape, pen, paper, circle template, knife, multi-tool.I draw up plans, present the solution, they approve it, and hire someone else to do the work. When they don't hire someone, the knife and multi-tool fixes the problem.

i have a metric/standard short/deep 3/8s ratchet set with 5 extensions and two wobbles, one of which is an impact wobble not the shitty universal joint one that comes with the sets.
