I'm skilled interior, but I'd like to be more of a builder. I don't have an inspector's eye.Deck joists are spaced like ass and they didn't finish flash taping the zipboard. I'm not thrilled about how the beams just rest on posts.

I should've taken pictures, but I once lived in a place where the staircase headed upstairs was converted into a bathroom, to make the basement into a separate apartment. When you walked into the bathroom, the stairs turned 90 degrees right for a ways, then the toilet was on a platform. Turn 90 degrees left and go up some more, and the shower was in the dead end at the top.The best part was that they decided to cover everything with tile, floors and walls. One time I got out of the shower and slipped, rolled down the tiled staircase ass naked and got fucked up lol

Found this below the laminate floor installed by my "contractor". 12 mm osb, non toung and groove installed on wooden beams more than 1 meter apart with sand / slag in between. It was sagging and bouncing 1 cm up and down, this dumb mutherfucker even sprayed PU foam below in some of the pockets. Im so tired of hungarians broskis ... doing everything myself now. when I was a framer it drove me fucking nuts how everyone in the business called OSB plywood. Everyone obviously knows it's OSB but it's just faster to say plywood and for our purposes it was basically the same thing so who cares. I never got used to it though.
