I think Hazbin Hotel (and Helluva Boss) might be the first example of a truly 'shipping first' show. Like the creator herself comes from that culture and expects you to be shipping shit and focusing on the romantic pairings more than any other element.

Faustisse was also the one who claimed Rosie had never died. If they were involved in developing the alleged Lilith/Rosie/Eve twin-swap concept, I wouldn't be surprised if Viv subsequently scrapped that entire plotline after they left. It certainly wouldn't be the first time she's seemingly discarded or substantially revised story elements associated with former collaborators, particularly those who originally conceived or championed them.Assuming the twin wife swap was ever even a thing in the first place.
