It's creator was it's destroyer.It was only created to cash in on the live action Green Lantern movie, without that movie it is not made and certainly not with it's quite high 20 million budget. But when the movie flopped, it also had a fuckton of merch rotting on the shelves, so when the makers of the show tried to get toys and figures from said show onto said shelves, stores by and large said "No more green lantern anything" because they couldn't move what they had. Because they couldn't get merch, they couldn't keep the show going due to it's high budget. Without the bomb of a movie, it would not have been born. Without the bomb of the movie, it would not have died. Truly, it is poetic.
