Finally got around to watching this movie in theaters today and wanted to catch up on conversation about it with other anons, the pros are pretty much what everyone else has said so I'll list the cons that stuck out to me
>The pacing and cuts are way too fast. Really wish it was more relaxed at parts for better breathing room for scenes, gags and characters. Rodger Rabbit had a great natural feel to its interactions so I was hoping this flick would have a similar cadence
>CONSTANT music happening through out, legit gave me a headache but this could also have been because of the theater being loud
>No Marvin
Pretty alright film overall and wileroad is based, I might watch it again down the line in a more comfortable setting to really solidify my feelings on the film. What was everyone else's thoughts and opinions? A bit of a side tangent, but the music choices for all the previews before the movie was really annoying.

Sweet, new thread.I saw someone point something out. Foghorn Leghorn spent his entire time before the congressional subcommittee spouting that toons are resilient and you can do whatever you want to them and it doesn't matter.Then Wile springs his trap on them, and he's flustered and blustering and demanding to be let out like his life is in danger.His own point is demolished within five minutes of the hearing ending.

One thing I've been thinking about is what Chuck Jones would've thought of the movie. His official stance was that you didn't really have to give Wile E. any sympathy because he could quit any time he wanted to, while the film says that Wile E's most sympathetic quality is his refusal to quit.

The humans could have been better. Like the female one could have used a bit more of an arch. A lot of the time was eaten up by whacky cartoon antics that didn't really serve the plot or character development much. It would have been possible to have whacky cartoon antics in a way that was doing that.But I think this is the definitive version of Coyote. It's an interpretation of him that should last for decades as it honors the original while expanding into something relatable and profound. There is also a great potential for this and Roger Rabbit to be have more imitators where cartoon characters and human actors confront expose serious corporate issues: the destruction of our train system in Roger Rabbit and this movie exposing how way companies put out dangerous products because its cheaper to absorb the law suits than to prevent them from harming users. The direction of cartoon heroes as come-tragic figures the humans learn from is also worth imitating.
