going to AX this year for a bit, but I wanna improve my mamimi cos. Rn im in the process of redoing the wig, but the clothes kinda bother me.
Ill post some pics of the jacket, thats mainly what I wanna improve. I wanna add her little jewel thingy but I dont know how I could make it and attach it, id have to make a little pocket and I cant really sew. (beginner kinda, I started cos in 2023)
also with her sailor collar, I dont know what color to dye it. I have tan dye, but I cant make out what the hell the color is in the anime. I will also paint the black stripe red.
pleaseplease give me advice since it looks a little cheap, ill be posting more photos to show it. Ill post many updates as well!! :)

Get some red fabric, cut it about twice as thick as the stripe, fold it over on each side, stitch each side over the stripe. Painting it would look messy and bright on dark doesn't go well anyway.

a thread died for this, but i'd recommend naota's red baseball bat and some prop cigarettes with 'never knows best' on them. it will make your cosplay much more recognizable.
